# LPCrate vs Record Picker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Record Picker at every 4 days against LPCrate's monthly. LPCrate's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LPCrate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Record Picker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LPCrate ships an update monthly, Record Picker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
