# Tessera vs Hourline

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tessera at every 4 days against Hourline's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tessera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hourline sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tessera ships an update every 4 days, Hourline every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
