# Music Notes vs Clefo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Clefo at daily against Music Notes's weekly. Clefo also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Music Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Clefo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Music Notes ships an update weekly, Clefo daily. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
