# WidgetBoard vs Wivit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wivit at every 2 days against WidgetBoard's every 6 weeks. Wivit also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WidgetBoard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Wivit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WidgetBoard ships an update every 6 weeks, Wivit every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
