# BeforeShow vs FANCERT

The clearest difference is update cadence: FANCERT at every 2 days against BeforeShow's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeforeShow sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year and FANCERT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BeforeShow ships an update weekly, FANCERT every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
