CubeRoots Ivy is a deceptively simple strategy puzzle where every cube you plant changes the board. Plant numbered cubes, grow vines and outsmart your opponent as you race to empty your hand first. The rules are easy to learn, but every move opens up new possibilities. Then the bombs arrive. HOW IT PLAYS Take turns planting cubes from your hand onto the board. Grow a line of three to force your opponent to pick up another cube. Grow a line of five or more and you can discard one of your own. Higher numbers grow up or to the right. Lower numbers grow down or to the left. Plan carefully, build your vines and find the move that changes everything. Empty your hand first to win. 100+ HANDCRAFTED LEVELS Work your way through more than 100 handcrafted puzzles, each introducing new layouts, opponents, hazards and twists. What starts simple soon becomes much more challenging, with bombs, blocked spaces, quicksand and other surprises constantly changing how you approach the board. MASTER EVERY LEVEL Finishing a level is only the beginning. Earn up to three stars on every puzzle by completing extra challenges, finding smarter solutions and mastering each board. SIMPLE RULES. SURPRISING DEPTH. CubeRoots Ivy is designed to be easy to pick up but satisfying to master. Every cube changes the puzzle. Every vine creates new opportunities. A move that looks perfect now could completely reshape the board a few turns later. Whether you want a quick puzzle or a longer strategy session, there is always another move to think about. NO PAY-TO-WIN Every level can be beaten through play and clever thinking. Play at your own pace, play offline and keep progressing without needing to spend money to win. FROM KITCHEN TABLE TO APP STORE CubeRoots Ivy began as a physical board game designed around a kitchen table in 2020. After years of refining the rules, testing different boards and playing countless games, we turned it into a mobile puzzle game. We’re a two-person UK indie studio, and CubeRoots Ivy is our first game.
