# LUX METER vs Candela

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Candela at none against LUX METER's 1. LUX METER's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LUX METER sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Candela asks for nothing beyond the download.
