# Simple Cal vs Noxy

The clearest difference is monetization model: Simple Cal at freemium against Noxy's subscription. Simple Cal also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Cal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Noxy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Simple Cal against 5.0 for Noxy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Cal has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Simple Cal ships an update every 11 days, Noxy every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
