# Lavapup vs DashboardToday

The clearest difference is update cadence: DashboardToday at fortnightly against Lavapup's every 6 weeks. DashboardToday also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lavapup sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and DashboardToday sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lavapup ships an update every 6 weeks, DashboardToday fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
