# Scrollmate vs Median

The clearest difference is ads: Median at none against Scrollmate's shown. Median also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrollmate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Median sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrollmate ships an update every 10 days, Median every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
