# SmileProgress vs Braces Progress Photos

The clearest difference is update cadence: Braces Progress Photos at every 3 days against SmileProgress's every 3 weeks. SmileProgress's advantage is iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmileProgress sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Braces Progress Photos sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
