# FaxDoc vs PaceScan

The clearest difference is rating: PaceScan at 5.0 against FaxDoc's 4.8. PaceScan also leads on iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18.0). FaxDoc's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FaxDoc sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and PaceScan sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PaceScan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FaxDoc has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
