# MedCat vs UCAT Prep

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: MedCat at 15.0 against UCAT Prep's 17.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MedCat sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and UCAT Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
