# Ivory Note vs Certolino

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ivory Note at every 2 days against Certolino's fortnightly. Ivory Note also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ivory Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Certolino sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Ivory Note against 5.0 for Certolino. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ivory Note has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Ivory Note ships an update every 2 days, Certolino fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
