# Germanize vs Zertifly

The clearest difference is rating: Germanize at 5.0 against Zertifly's 2.0. Germanize also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Zertifly's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Germanize sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and Zertifly sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Germanize holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively.

Germanize ships an update every 5 days, Zertifly every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
