# Wizard vs Fluid Friction

The clearest difference is rating: Wizard at 5.0 against Fluid Friction's 4.3. Wizard also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Fluid Friction's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wizard sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $12.49 per 3 months and Fluid Friction sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wizard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fluid Friction has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
