# Rivro vs Trace

The clearest difference is ads: Trace at none against Rivro's shown. Trace also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rivro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Trace sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rivro ships an update every 2 months, Trace every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
