# Butsu vs Solys

The clearest difference is ads: Butsu at none against Solys's shown. Butsu also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). Solys's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Butsu sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Solys sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.59 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Butsu ships an update every 2 weeks, Solys every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
