# Fragments vs Hatch AI

The clearest difference is ads: Hatch AI at none against Fragments's shown. Hatch AI also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.2). Fragments's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fragments sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hatch AI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fragments ships an update every 3 days, Hatch AI every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
