# Bus Go vs Bus Loop

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bus Go at none against Bus Loop's 10. Bus Loop's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bus Loop sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Bus Go asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Bus Go against 5.0 for Bus Loop. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bus Loop has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bus Go ships an update fortnightly, Bus Loop every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
