# 9Remote vs Remote

The clearest difference is update cadence: 9Remote at every 2 weeks against Remote's every 2 months. 9Remote also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 9Remote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and Remote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

9Remote ships an update every 2 weeks, Remote every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
