# Sequentia vs GestureWave

The clearest difference is update cadence: GestureWave at every 2 days against Sequentia's every 8 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sequentia sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and GestureWave sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sequentia ships an update every 8 days, GestureWave every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
