# Spinbrek vs Pause

The clearest difference is rating: Pause at 5.0 against Spinbrek's 4.3. Pause also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 3). Spinbrek's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spinbrek sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Pause sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pause holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 9 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Spinbrek ships an update every 5 days, Pause every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
