# Rubberband vs Granula

The clearest difference is update cadence: Granula at weekly against Rubberband's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rubberband sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Granula sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rubberband ships an update monthly, Granula weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
