# Rubberband vs DroneSynth

The clearest difference is update cadence: DroneSynth at every 4 days against Rubberband's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rubberband sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DroneSynth sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rubberband ships an update fortnightly, DroneSynth every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
