# Sphere vs at8pm

The clearest difference is update cadence: at8pm at daily against Sphere's every 3 weeks. Sphere's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sphere sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and at8pm sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sphere ships an update every 3 weeks, at8pm daily. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
