# Shape Copilot vs Torva

The clearest difference is update cadence: Torva at every 2 days against Shape Copilot's every 8 days. Shape Copilot's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shape Copilot sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Torva sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shape Copilot ships an update every 8 days, Torva every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
