# EctoMeter Ghost Detector vs GhostLab

The clearest difference is update cadence: GhostLab at every 2 days against EctoMeter Ghost Detector's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EctoMeter Ghost Detector sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and GhostLab sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EctoMeter Ghost Detector ships an update every 5 weeks, GhostLab every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
