# VidMint vs OptiPixel

The clearest difference is ads: VidMint at none against OptiPixel's shown. OptiPixel's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VidMint sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and OptiPixel sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VidMint ships an update every 2 months, OptiPixel every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
