# Gecko IPTV vs Flux

The clearest difference is device support: Gecko IPTV at 5 against Flux's 2. Gecko IPTV also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gecko IPTV sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Flux sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gecko IPTV ships an update every 9 days, Flux every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
