# Script Lab vs Amethyst Writer

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Script Lab at 13.0 against Amethyst Writer's 18.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Script Lab sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.00 per 7 days and Amethyst Writer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
