# Harmat vs Nous

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nous at every 4 days against Harmat's every 6 weeks. Nous also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1). Harmat's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Harmat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nous has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Harmat ships an update every 6 weeks, Nous every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
