# Widgnest vs SunLight

The clearest difference is ads: SunLight at none against Widgnest's shown. Widgnest's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widgnest sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and SunLight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widgnest ships an update every 4 days, SunLight fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
