# Rebuild vs Pathlings

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pathlings at free against Rebuild's freemium. Rebuild's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 7) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rebuild sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Pathlings sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Rebuild against 4.4 for Pathlings. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 22 and 7 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Rebuild's written reviews are positive against 83% of Pathlings's.

Rebuild ships an update every 9 days, Pathlings weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
