# DanceShot vs PickCam

The clearest difference is ads: DanceShot at none against PickCam's shown. DanceShot also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DanceShot sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PickCam sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DanceShot ships an update fortnightly, PickCam every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
