# BeaglePrep vs Sequence

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sequence at every 3 days against BeaglePrep's monthly. BeaglePrep's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeaglePrep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sequence sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BeaglePrep ships an update monthly, Sequence every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
