# BeaglePrep vs Focus Sheep

The clearest difference is rating: Focus Sheep at 5.0 against BeaglePrep's 4.6. Focus Sheep also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). BeaglePrep's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeaglePrep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Focus Sheep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Sheep holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BeaglePrep has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

BeaglePrep ships an update monthly, Focus Sheep every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
