# MeltdownMap vs Nello

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nello at weekly against MeltdownMap's every 6 weeks. Nello also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MeltdownMap sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Nello sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MeltdownMap ships an update every 6 weeks, Nello weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
