# bake vs Threes

The clearest difference is ads: bake at none against Threes's shown. bake also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Threes's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. bake sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Threes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

bake ships an update every 5 days, Threes every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
