# Cliché vs Reveal

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cliché at none against Reveal's 10. Cliché also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 days) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). Reveal's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reveal sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Cliché asks for nothing beyond the download.

Reveal holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Cliché's written reviews are positive against 88% of Reveal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cliché ships an update every 2 days, Reveal every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
