# Yap vs PathGlot

The clearest difference is update cadence: PathGlot at daily against Yap's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yap sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and PathGlot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Yap ships an update fortnightly, PathGlot daily. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
