# Tip Jar vs Amppfy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Amppfy at every 2 days against Tip Jar's every 2 months. Amppfy also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tip Jar sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.00 per month and Amppfy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tip Jar ships an update every 2 months, Amppfy every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
