# FretPilot vs Modes Guitar

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: FretPilot at 15.6 against Modes Guitar's 17.6. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FretPilot sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Modes Guitar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
