# tachbook vs Logbook

The clearest difference is update cadence: tachbook at weekly against Logbook's every 3 weeks. tachbook also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. tachbook sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Logbook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

tachbook ships an update weekly, Logbook every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
