# VANTA vs ThunderForce

The clearest difference is ads: ThunderForce at none against VANTA's shown. ThunderForce also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VANTA sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ThunderForce sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VANTA ships an update every 2 weeks, ThunderForce every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
