# Hippo Feed vs Shikaku

The clearest difference is ads: Hippo Feed at none against Shikaku's shown. Hippo Feed also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 4 days) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hippo Feed sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Shikaku sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
