# TakeOne vs DroPilot Pentatonics

The clearest difference is device support: DroPilot Pentatonics at 3 against TakeOne's 1. DroPilot Pentatonics also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TakeOne sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and DroPilot Pentatonics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
