# Step & Star vs RomaTalk

The clearest difference is update cadence: RomaTalk at fortnightly against Step & Star's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step & Star sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and RomaTalk sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
