# WhereIsIt vs PackPath

The clearest difference is ads: WhereIsIt at none against PackPath's shown. PackPath's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WhereIsIt sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PackPath sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WhereIsIt ships an update every 5 days, PackPath every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
