# SnapCutter vs Future Book

The clearest difference is update cadence: Future Book at every 10 days against SnapCutter's every 5 weeks. Future Book also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnapCutter sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Future Book sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SnapCutter ships an update every 5 weeks, Future Book every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
